Alianza FC México, A.C. (“Alianza FC México” or the “Organization”) has created this Privacy Notice in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the “Law”), to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy and the information you provide to us.

We ask that you read this Privacy Notice carefully, as the mere provision of your personal data—whether in physical or digital form through the various platforms we offer—constitutes your express acceptance of this Privacy Notice and, consequently, your express authorization for the processing of your personal data.

1. Identity and address of the data controller

Alianza FC México, A.C., with its registered office at Av. Del Estado 208, Col. Tecnológico, Monterrey, N.L., ZIP Code 64700, is responsible for collecting your personal data, for the use to which it is put, and for its protection.

2. Personal data to be processed

We may collect identification information, contact information, academic information, professional information, employment information, tax information, and financial or asset information.

From time to time and for specific purposes, we may collect sensitive personal data regarding your health.

When processing sensitive personal data or financial or property-related data, the Institution must obtain the appropriate consent, which, together with this Privacy Notice, authorizes the Institution to process such data in the manner authorized by the Data Subject.

3. Purposes of the processing

The personal data and sensitive personal data that you voluntarily provide to Alianza FC México will be used to identify, locate, and contact you; to register you in our contact database; and for any other purposes similar to those set forth herein. This information will be protected by administrative, technical, and physical security measures to prevent its damage, loss, alteration, destruction, unauthorized use, access, or disclosure.

The Institution shall not require the Data Subject’s consent to process personal data when it does so in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of the Act.

In addition, Alianza FC México is authorized to process personal data for any of the following secondary purposes: To send, by any physical, electronic, or magnetic means—including, but not limited to, regular mail, email, telephone calls, electronic downloads, or through personnel previously identified and authorized by the Institution—the following: a. General news and announcements that are or may be important or related to the Institution. b. Campaigns, benefits, or invitations to events.

If you do not want Alianza FC México to process your personal data for any of the secondary purposes described in this section, please send an email to contacto@comunalia.org.mx. You may change your preferences at any time.

4. Data transfers

We will not sell your personal data to other companies in the normal course of our business; however, your personal data may occasionally be disclosed to another association or public institutions as part of a partnership, collaboration, and/or similar process, in which case such disclosure will be subject to our privacy policy in effect on that date, and we will maintain, with respect to such data, the level of privacy or confidentiality required under applicable law and such policy.

The Institution shall not require the Data Subject’s consent to transfer personal data when it does so in accordance with the provisions of Article 37 of the Act.

5. Methods for exercising your ARCO rights, limiting the use or disclosure of your personal data, and revoking your consent.

You have the right, pursuant to Article 29 of the Law, to access, correct, and delete your personal data, as well as to object to the processing of such data or revoke the consent you have granted us for that purpose, through the procedures we have implemented. In order for the Institution to process your request, you or your legal representative must properly verify your identity by providing a copy of a valid official identification document.
If the information provided is incorrect or insufficient, or if the required supporting documents are not included, the Institution may, within five (5) business days of receiving the request, require you to provide the necessary information or documents to process it. You will have ten (10) business days to comply with this request, starting from the day after you receive it. If you do not respond within this period, the corresponding request will be deemed not to have been submitted.

Alianza FC México will notify you of its decision within a maximum of twenty (20) business days from the date the request was received, so that, if the request is granted, it may be implemented within fifteen (15) business days following notification of the response.

Data subjects may, at any time—except as otherwise provided in this Act—restrict the use or disclosure of personal data previously provided to the Institution. To do so, the data subject should contact us at: contacto@comunalia.org.mx

6. Use of cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies

This website uses a technology called “cookies.” A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your web browser when you visit a website. Our cookies are stored by Google Analytics, which anonymizes the information and does not collect your personal data. The Help section of your browser can tell you how to control the use of cookies.

7. Procedure and method for communicating changes to the privacy notice

The Data Subject shall be deemed to have been tacitly notified and to have accepted the amendments to this Privacy Notice within three business days following the date on which the respective amendment is made available to the public, provided the Data Subject does not express any disagreement or objection. For the purposes of the foregoing, the Institution, at its discretion, may notify the Data Subject of the changes made to this Privacy Notice through any of the following means:

  • A letter sent to any of the address(es) on file for the Account Holder.
  • An email sent to any of the email addresses we have on file for the Account Holder.
  • Notices posted on the Institution’s website in the case of general, rather than specific, changes, or when required by law or by the competent authority.
