2. Strengthening Community Foundations
We strengthen the impact of community foundations in Mexico through support strategies aimed at:
a. Partner foundations
We identify areas for improvement in order to design personalized training programs that provide:
- Individual capacity building: technical consulting, community assessments, stakeholder mapping, giving circles, scholarships, and internships for peer-to-peer learning.
- Collective empowerment: communities of practice and workshops that promote learning and collaboration among allies.
b. New Community Foundations
We support grassroots groups and local organizations that wish to establish themselves as community foundations, providing them with technical assistance and a roadmap for joining the national alliance.
3. Visibility of the Impact of Community Foundations in Mexico
At Comunalia, we document and share how community foundations drive local development and strengthen the social fabric, serving as a reliable and innovative vehicle for channeling resources and contributing to sustainable development in Mexico.
We offer community foundations the opportunity to participate in national and international forums, access to strategic partnerships, visibility on social media, and our common indicators platform, which measures the collective contribution of foundations to the social sector in Mexico.
