This case study was developed by the research team at the Center for Philanthropy and Social Investment at Adolfo Ibáñez University (CEFIS UAI), led by Rodrigo Villar with the support of Ximena Veas, in 2023. It is part of the project “Localizing the SDGs to Promote Sustainable Communities in Latin America,” carried out with the support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
Las Fundaciones Comunitarias (FC) cuentan con una combinación única de liderazgo social, alianzas y recursos que les facilita alinearse a los ODS. A través de la interacción con las comunidades y otros actores, las FC no sólo conjuntan las voces ciudadanas, sino que se familiarizan con las necesidades y prioridades de desarrollo del territorio donde operan para abordar problemas complejos a nivel local.
