Vital Signs: Southeastern Coahuila

"Vital Signs: Southeast Region of Coahuila" was produced by the Merced Coahuila Foundation, in collaboration with Comunalia, the Inter-American Foundation, and the Mott Foundation. It is an analysis of the indicators that provide context for the targets of eight of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the municipalities that make up the state’s Southeast Region: Arteaga, General Cepeda, Parras, Ramos Arizpe, and Saltillo.

To promote the region’s development and reduce disparities, research efforts focused on conducting a social assessment of the fight against poverty and hunger; the promotion of health and education; as well as gender equality, the reduction of inequalities, and the environment. The efforts of civil society organizations in the region are concentrated on these issues.
