In 2024, the Oaxaca Community Foundation joined the call for proposals issued by COMUNALIA, the Alliance of Community Foundations in Mexico, to conduct its first “Vital Signs” study.
Through Signos Vitales, the Oaxaca Community Foundation seeks to improve its “Community Scholarships” program, which aims to help young students in Oaxaca begin, continue, and complete their high school and college studies, fostering in them a vision of community development and strengthening their home communities, while combating educational disparities and school dropout rates at these levels.
