Comunalia, the Alliance of Community Foundations of Mexico, joined the Donors’ Forum last February—one of the initiatives of the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi)—with the goal of sharing improvements in donation processes and outcomes through a collaborative effort that upholds the principles of strategic philanthropy and transparency.

During its 2019 Annual Meeting, Comunalia’s Board of Directors reported on the initiatives undertaken last year that directly benefited more than 24,000 people. The meeting took place in Mexico City and was attended by members and representatives of the country’s social community foundations.
